✔ I TRAVEL AND DRAW

In 2011 I stopped my glass blowing art career at home. Since then I've spent most of my time travelling around the world to experience different cultures and learn about them.

In the beginning, I found travelling, and especially solo travelling, very hard. After a while, though, I learned to accept, even welcome, the unexpected. Since my view had shifted many people and places have moved me and shaped my life in their own way.

Those inspiring memories of travelling gave me a new creative drive and mindset. I desire to talk about how beautiful the diversity is around the world, how unique each place is and yet ultimately how we share the same origin as human beings. I draw to share this reality, your reality.

Currently, I compose with chalk to manifest these thoughts into creations, in the streets of the many cities I visit. So far, I have made pavement artworks in Stuttgart, Amsterdam, Brussels, London, Melbourne, New York, Paris and Seoul. There will be many more in the future.
